Face Bigelow #31 - Virus Maker (1 of 6)

The first in a four or five part series inspired by real world events. This is the series that inspired me to post all of these up here. I may be delayed getting them uploaded as we are approaching the end of the year and everyone is busy with the holiday's and you are probably too busy to read them anyway.

Face Bigelow #30 - No raises

This was pretty close to an actual event, except for the talk about options, but that was implied.

I noticed this article on what CEO's drive yesterday.

By the way, this is the last of the old stack of comics. The rest were written more recently and this one was the one that helped get the drawing jump started again.

Face Bigelow #29 - Confidential

I've been leaving this on my desk in the evenings. For no reason at all except that I got this little yellow note and no one will tell me why!

Face Bigelow #28 - Big Law

This is the last of the entries from early in the year. There are a two more coming from mid year, then I have about 12 more that I have done recently.

Face Bigelow #27 - Bouncing Baby

This was done during the whole Anna/Danielynn Nicole-Smith debacle. Once the actor (Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt, I had to look it up) jumped into the ring I couldn't get pen to paper fast enough. This just seemed more fiction that reality.

Face Bigelow #26 - god among mortals

The lettering has changed again. I'm not sure which I like better, but it seems that most comics use block so I'll probably stick with this for a while. Comments on your preference would be greatly appreciated.

Face Bigelow #25 - John Kerry

This is one of my all time favorites. It's all down hill from here. This was drawn early in the year when Kerry jumped in and out of the race.

Face Bigelow #22 - Big 08

I'm starting the presidential candidate series. These were all drawn in January. This series has some of my favorites that I have done so far.

What is a Clintushism? (clin-tush-ism)

Sorry for the non-comic entry, I can't help but think the Shrek 3 conversation between Prince Charming and Pinocchio sounds just like Clinton and Bush so I've decided to call this sort of speak a Clintushism. Part of the Clintush (clin-tush) dynasty if Hillary Clinton Actually wins...?

In this clip Prince Charming is looking for Shrek and tries to get the information out of Pinocchio who we all know can't lie without his nose growing big, right...?

Prince Charming:- You.... You can’t lie, so tell me puppet, where is Shrek?
Pinocchio:- Uh, hmm, well, uh, I don’t know where he’s not.
Prince Charming:- Your telling me, you don’t know where Shrek is?
Pinocchio:- It wouldn’t be inaccurate to assume that I couldn’t exactly not say that it is or isn’t almost partially incorrect.
Prince Charming:- So you do know where he is?
Pinocchio:- On the contrary. I’m possibly more or less not definitely rejecting the idea that in no way with any amount of uncertainty that I undeniably Prince Charming : Stop it! Pinocchio: know where he shouldn’t undeniably probably be, if that indeed wasn’t where he isn’t. Even if he wasn’t at where I knew he wasn't....

The first day using the new lettering system. I've changed it again in about 5 more days.

Face Bigelow #20 - WMDs

Tomorrow starts a new lettering system so they should be a lot easier to read.

Face Bigelow #19 - Contra Budget

This current grouping I'm going through are quite political and not necessarily the only topic I plan to pursue. This just happens to be a few years of pent up ideas from the current Whitehouse and Congress. Don't worry, all sides get their moment in the spot light, but I doubt I'll get away without insulting someone.

Face Bigelow #13 - Congressman Big

This was actually done earlier in the year when the new democratic congress took over.

Face Bigelow #1 - Consultant

I'm pretty sure this is the first one I drew.

Introducing Face Bigelow

I've been drawing four pane cartoons on the back of my yearly far side calendar. I did about 30 in the beginning of the year and have started drawing them again lately. As soon as I get my act together and remember to bring in my digital camera which I plan to use as a scanner I'll start posting them here.

The premise is really simple. Face Bigelow has a really big head. He thinks he knows everything.
